In communist and Muslim run nations, the Christians are physically beaten, tortured, stoned, even beheaded, for their faith in Jesus Christ.
He went on to say that those who have left their homes and came to the United States, to flee from the persecutions, to live their faith openly, have a much harder time being Christians here. In our country, we face a much more difficult battle. This is not a battle which is fought on a physical plane at all, but rather a spiritual one: a spiritual battle they've never known. The devil is at work in our country's open society of homosexuality, nudity, devil worshipers, false teachers, lies, etc. etc. etc.
Ephesians 6:12, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Each morning, the Christians, in overseas countries, know what battles they will need to fight that day, but here each one of us is in a very strong spiritual battle at every turn. We do not know what we will face each day. We are constantly being persecuted against, non-stop with deceptions and lies, and temptations everywhere, trying to destroy us, separate us from our faith.
So to my Christian friends, we must stay strong and keep our eyes on Jesus....

You are so right...we have to be strong, stronger than ever before, because it is coming.
ReplyDeleteBoy, Amen Carol. Amen. Very well said and I completely agree. I pray that the Lord will come back soon. " 'Til we meet again in the air ..." hope you have a blessed day. ~:)
